The Kusnadi is very special but you could try the Baleka. Diagonally opposite they have renovated their rooms.
Also not in the same area is Rama Garden on JL Padma similar traditional style - just renovated.
Another option for a group is Hidden Garden Villa's Gg Abdi opposite Melasti Beach Hotel theres a few styles to choose from.
