Day 9:
Sisters last day, so last-minute shopping - I only have 20 bintang singlets, I think I need 25 etc.
Lunch at KP. Hubby's gut still crook, so ordered tuna focaccia to share. 1st 'western' feed since arriving and it was sensational!
So much fun at Biku the other day, decided on another high tea. Still couldn't get a reading, must remember to book that in advance...
BT's on beach, last minute 'home shopping' before sisters et al ship off for home.
Trying to get nephew bintang-can-speaker for 50k. This is my mission before I leave ;)
Made's for some take away for dinner (not the fancy one), its a small shop just up the lane way opposite KP.
Day 10:
Just us to worry about....
First stop - grab a bike. Old mate at the Kodak shop in 'Lenny's arcade' did the deal for 30k per day. I'm a bit of a nana and only putt-putt about but hubby would quite happily ride the darned thing to Uluwatu if he had the chance... Speaking of surfing, he strangely still hasn't been out. The poor dear still has a runny bum and is not coping well... So far gastro-stop, pharmacy + diarrhoea tabs and diapet haven't done the job.
Went around the corner for a wash and haircut. Good job, but lost at least 3 inches. Now I'll never have hair like Kim Kardashian! Not sure why I decided to have my afro-esque hair straightened: that lasted at least 30 seconds after I left the salon and stepped into the humidity... 80k not well spent.
Headed down to Pelangi to find Rooty for a massage. She and Kitty still not there. It's been nearly a week now, none of the other girls know where she is. I hope everything is ok.
Hung around resort for the rest of the day - hubby not game to venture to far from the crapper.
Must mention the weather - it's been unseasonably humid. Mornings are quite overcast, but days are mostly fine, a bit windy, around 29/30. Yes, I am living the dream. Do you think channel 7 will sign me on in place of grant denyer? Surf has decreased significantly. Starting to look like Maroochy swell.
