I looked on the DAFF website and it's a bit confusing but they did say the following are restricted:
•eggs and egg products
•dairy products
•uncanned meat
•seeds and nuts
•fresh fruit and vegetables
Which covers almonds and perhaps coconut. However I don't think this means you can't, just that you need to declare it and may lose it if it is viable, that is it can be planted and grown.
You could try ringing them direct?
