None of the people I contact at home have smartphones, unfortunately.
I haven't found a Bali sim in my Galaxy S2 to be particularly expensive though. $5 for a month of unlimited data and maybe another $10-20 for calls and texts over a month isn't bad in my opinion. Plus I don't have to muck about finding places with wifi. Most hotels I've stayed at have either had no wifi or it's only in the restaurant or lobby - and it's always been slow as mud. I'm happy to pay a small amount and be able to use it wherever I want to - my room or balcony, or in a taxi, warung, on a day trip out etc. :)
