If you are planning to stay at a hotel, which is on Garuda's hotel list you can get very cheap fares by booking both with them.
This used to be the case with most airline but Garuda seem to have gone back to the cheap fly & stay packages. I booked Legian beach hotel with flights and the cost of fare taking into account Hotel prices it dropped from $800 to $498 return from Sydney. I used Zuji to book Garuda through but you can use any agent Zuji came in cheaper than others when they load commission etc on.
