pemuteran the little village you pass thru just before you get to the small jetty to get on the boat to menganjan has some very good snorkeling off the beach . i would suggest tulamben is close enough for a day trip quicker now the new highway has been built excellant snorkeling off the beach in the coral garden and if the kids are good swimmers they can snokel over the liberty wreck only about 50 m from shore they can look down and watch the scuba divers doing there thing around the wreck lots of big fish too
