He went to Dr Rudy, although he saw a lady dentist and then a dental technician fitted them.
He had a partial upper denture made. He had recently had one made here in Melbourne and was really disappointed with it......it was uncomfortable and just didn't fit right.
He has five teeth on the plate and it cost 350,000 rp and included a clean for the rest of his teeth......so about $350 Aud. They charge 70,000rp per tooth.
There were three visits. First for examination and when he agreed with the quote etc they took the impressions, then a wax denture was fitted and adjusted three days later with the final denture fitted three days after that. The technician was very thorough and kept adjusting the plate until he was completely happy with it.....so about 10 days all up.
He says it fits tightly and is much smaller and thinner that his last "hunk of plastic". He wouldn't hesitate recommending them.
