We are not " resort " people but Karon Beach is a tad out of the firing range. Depending on what time you go you can get a 50% discount on rooms. The Jungle rooms are the best absolutley brilliant. It was a very memorable stay for us as all essentials nearby. You get Tuk Tuks to wherever you want to go.
