He is really good. I've hired off him last 3 times over there. He delivers the bikes to you and supplies helmets etc. You can negotiate (as you do) a price with him depending on how long you want the bikes for. I think Gary gave you prices too, so you work it out around that.
As Gary stated, must have an international drivers permit though, your aussie licence is not enough to ride there legally or insurance wise. If in Vic, the RACV do them for $35-$40 depending on if you take a passport size photo with you or they have to take it.
You need to make sure you have the rego papers of the bike, your IDP and helmet on... you will be pulled up eventually.
