Hi there, we booked our holiday years ago through a travel agent (unheard of booking online back then 22 yrs ago), they quoted us the full package, airfares, accommodation, breakfast and FREE transfers. Initially said yes to all. Got the quote, rang hubby, he said ring back without transfers. Rang back and quote was $175AUD cheaper. The agent told us it was $35 each person for the transfers, even for my 18 mth old daughter. I explained everywhere in brochures in bold print and even in the earlier phone call he told me FREE transfers, to which he replied sales ploy, all agents told to promote FREE transfers, no such thing. We got to the airport went to mini bus stand, inside the airport back then $7.00AUD in total to Kuta and then hotel had been told that we actually had paid in Melbourne for transfer back to airport when holiday finished so we gave the driver equivalent of $10AUD. I have been back probably 25 times since and never ever paid transfers until I get to Denpasar, definitely not free.
