I've paid Rp50K for either necklace or bangle with my mate in Jl Padma Utara. I don't know if that's over or under but I've paid the same price with him for years. I don't hand any coins over with that price.
To be honest, I wouldn't bother with the necklaces again. The chain is just way too fine and breaks too easily.
The ones from the stand at Matahari are fixed price. I can't remember the exact prices there, but I think it was around the Rp100K mark for a ring which was made to order and sized for the finger I wanted to wear it on. I don't wear it now because it's gold and I've gone back to silver jewellery, but i did wear it for years and it still looks good. Occasionally on a hot day I'd get a bit of a mark on my finger from the copper content, but the ring never tarnished - and I wore it in the shower and all.
