it is common practice to ask/receive deposits direct into the "owners" respective bank account. Not to be confused with an unauthorised 3rd party. This often will save CC Fees.
You would also be surprised to learn that many accom establishments battle with prospective guest credit card frauds and scams.
You would be foolish to just willy nilly either by bank transfer or by Credit Card pay for accom without checking the legitimacy of the establishment.
