I always thought the beaches went Tuban, Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. I also thought of Kerobokan as that area inland from Legian and Seminyak. I do not know the precise boundaries of the Kerobokan Banjar, but I would be surprised if it included a beach.

When I first went to Bali in 1975, there were Pertamina Cottages, Kuta and Legian. Each of these places were distinct villages. Beyond Ledgian, there was only jungle until you reached the Oberoi Hotel.
