Used to do scheduling not for rooms but same principle. It is hard to fit in peoples requests for specific rooms. Maybe you want to book 10 days and they just have a 10 day space in room 101 but you want room 107 and to book this room would mean leaving it empty for 2 days before you book in and 3 days after. They will always put you, within reason, where you want to be but not at the expense of leaving another room empty.
