They can get all the food you suggested plus fantastic breads, pastries, sushi, savories , sweets etc. I always have 1 trip there for a fancy French tart :) BUT I also take a whole round of brie from home if I am going for more than 12 days as it is quite expensive. One thing i do recommending packing for nibbles is your own crackers for cheese. If they are real foodies, tell them to keep nibblies and snacks to a minimum and enjoy eating out.
Bintang has small pieces of brie and some cold cuts but not the variety of Carrefour.
Grocer and Grind, The Gourmet Cafe and Bali Deli all have imported nibbles but at a price.
