We arrived yesterday and everything was fine, we checked into our accommodation without drama and headed to our favourite little café for our traditional first meal in Bali, this is where the devastating event took place...Our favourite café The Bali Corner Café on the corner of Poppies 2 and Benesari Lane was closed, the horror and shock hit us like a brick wall, there were no signs explaining what was going on but a local sitting on the doorstep trying to flog us some transport said they were closed for renovations, my partner in particular was feeling the most devastated as she had been looking forward to the Nasi Chap Chay from there for months now and she was visibly shattered. So if anyone out there could let me know if they have any information about the fate of this place and if it is ever going to reopen again it would be much appreciated, also if anyone out there knows of somewhere in the vicinity of the K$H that makes decent Nasi Chap Chay it would also be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
