We have been to quite a few cooking classes and the last time we went to Deans Cooking Class in Seminyak. Dean is English, so there is no language barrier. We went to Jimbaran Bay to pick the fish and produce. He showed us many different techniques : how to bone a chicken, pick a good fish, fillet the fish, devein a prawn without removing the shell. It was about $100 each but I was very happy with it. I have been to cheaper classes and more expensive ones. Everyone is different and I have learnt something new in all of them
