Stayed there in July and had no problem with mozzies. They don't bother me anyway, but my husband is usually a magnet. We had one night where we were conscious of a couple buzzing about, and put some repellant on. We didn't use the repellant other than that one time. Not a big problem.
The noise from the nightclubs is very feint and you may find once your bedroom door is closed that you don't hear it. I travel with earplugs anyway as hubby sometimes snores, so take some and pop one in one ear, and the other ear into your pillow, if you are bothered. Again, I think people who need absolute quiet to sleep are the ones who find this a problem. Someone who lives in a noisy city/suburb environment back home would probably not even notice.
For the extra money that you would pay to stay here over your other option, I suggest you will get better value for your money, considering the maid who comes in every morning to make you breakfast, and does your laundry for free everyday. You have her services until 4pm so if you need some shopping done etc it's a great service. All the staff are super friendly and give a smiling hello each time you see them. They really treat their customers very well.
The Dyana Villas are in a great location; many good restaurants and bars in the main street Camplung Tanduk, and just a short walk down to the beach and the fantastic beach bars, where you sit on bean bags on the sand. Or you are sort of half way between Legian and the main 'Eat Street' of Seminyak, so for a quick cab ride or leisurely stroll you can head in either direction. I think it's a great spot geographically.
