Dream Beach near Mushroom Bay has wonderful scenery and so does the blowhole etc on the next island via the yellow bridge (I can't remember the name too).
Loved your description of the villa/area. I rented a scooter and saw some amazing scenery too. Came across a big ceremony and had to take a detour up through some roads behind Mushroom Bay. This is where my scooter skidded in the sand area on the side of the road. Luckily all I hurt was my toe. Locals stopped and helped me. All was Ok.
