what I don't understand is why anyone would bring their own car to Bali at this time of year, or anytime for that matter. Taxis are so cheap, as is hiring a driver, and the local tourists must spend much of their holiday sitting in traffic jams.
Won't be leaving the Seminyak area now, until we go to the airport early on New Year's Day. Lesson learnt :-)
