I booked the Peneeda View once but after a visit there to check it out I cancelled my booking! I had a family room booked and on inspection thought it smelt mouldy etc. The other rooms might be ok but I also didnt think much of the location.
I have stayed at the Griya Santrian which is above your budget but a fantastic hotel in a great location- you could try the Besakih next door which gets rave reviews though I can only vouch for the location. Another possibility is the Vila Shanti right next door to the Griya or another beachfront one I liked the look of was the Respati. Good luck! We are back in Sanur in April- taking a teenager who wants to spend most of his time surfing!
