Sri at Jadi Cafe next to Pearl Hotel on Double 6 street does an amazing seafood meal. It is a very small cafe in a garden, maybe 20 seats or so. She does not carry seafood unless to order in which case she goes to Jimbaran in the morning to get it, according to what you order. You can be specific and ask for lobster, prawns, crab or whatever or just tell her how many people and that you want an assortment of seafood.
My friends did the latter and were blown away by both the quality and price. She is a brilliant cook and her little restaurant is quirky and pretty with laid back beautiful music in the background.
Doesn't apply to seafood which needs to be ordered but some people do find that they have a long wait sometimes because she is a perfectionist and cooks each meal from scratch. We now know her menu and ring and pre order which works for us. Others don't mind about the wait and BYO wine, she has beer. She is actually fine with you BYOing whatever you like really.
