Loving your reports ... the rat by the pool reminds me of several years ago when my daughter and I were walking past Melasti Hotel in Tuban and a large rat ran past us and close to one of the security guard. We stopped dead in our tracks but with a big Bali smile on this face the guard said "No worries just Sacred Rat". We had many laughts with this guard over the course of our holiday about Sacred Rat. It always amazes me how they can put a good twist on almost every situation... got to love them for it.
