I would rather deal with the Javanese police than the Kalibukbuk variety.You are required to report to either tourist police or the Singaraja constabulary if staying in a private residence.The person who owns the residence is responsible & faces a hefty fine if failing to report.You are setting yourself up to be the easy mark.Tread carefully.
