Couple of bits of triviality I forgot.
Thursday morning went from Novotel TB to the new Pullman Hotel which is at the extreme north of Kuta beach. In July we went to The Stadium from TB, the traffic was so heavy we got out of the cab and walked from Tuban. This time we gave ouselves an hour, no traffic, first time we've ever been straight through Kuta Square and arrived in 35 minutes go to whoa.
Puzzled by this one, in Jakarta, in the stores, the hotels and on the streets there are Christmas Trees, decorations, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year signage all over the place. In the shopping centre over the road from the hotel there was a choir singing carols, perfect diction and harmony, some stores were displaying Nativity Scenes. Have my wife and I got something wrong somewhere regarding Nativity Scenes not being allowed in some of our schools ?
