After flying Jetstar for years last year had a 14 hour delay out of Melbourne (lost first night of accomodation in a Bali penthouse at $800 per night!!! - not happy). initially the delay was due to a sick pilot (understandable- these things happen) but when a replacement pilot was flying in from Sydney he put his passport in his checked luggage and Jetstar lost his luggage!!! On way home was diverted to Sydney due to fog in Melbourne (fine- these things happen) but having a nightmare 11 hour wait to find a new flight we were not happy!!! Flew Garuda this year and were so impressed. Will need to attempt Jetstar next year (have enough frequent flyer points) but still remember last years nightmare flights!!
