you could try Safare. This is good for families. Next along is Sweet Magnolia which is under the trees on Mertasari Beach.
As mentioned the beer at Kesuma is not always cold but it is worth checking out.
Bobbies, Tora Tora and Cemara Beach restaurants are between the Sanur Beach Hotel and Puri Santrian , they are all worth a visit.
Titie's which is north of the Puri Santrian has cold beer and is a lovely place to sit. She actually has cold beer available at 8AM but please do not tell Irma that I know about the cold beer at that time of the morning.
Sanur Bay Restaurant is north of the new Regent Hotel and is also a great spot.
Just before the Hyatt is La Playa which is also a great spot.
After 8 PM some of the bars along Jalan Danau Poso get interesting. Black Ink, Sweethearts or BBB are worth a visit if you have an open mind. (don't take the kids).
Linga Longa has music though until the sun comes up.
The local Sanur families do not want the area to turn into another Kuta so they have placed a 1.30AM ban on loud music. Linga Longa is not in a residential area so they escape this ban.
