ended up in a small village named Tanjung Karang, this is in Central West Sulawesi.
Tanjung Karang translates as peninsula of coral.
There is a You tube film clip here showing the beach at Tanjung Karang. (or there should be but I am known to stuff things up).
Even though this place looks beautiful it is very backwards. They finally have electricity but as of yet do not have running water.
