I know the shop well that JIL is talkng about. They do have 2 types of ukuleles. The cheaper ones are similar to the ones you see everywhere in the handicraft shops but Rafi has restrung them & also makes sure they are tuneable etc (a lot of the ones in the markets are not good. He also has a very good quality ukuele that is solid wood & more suitable for someone who is looking for a professional instrument. If you just want one for the kids to muck around on then the cheaper ones are fine. The shop as across from Poppies Restaurant so not far from where you are staying. Good luck.
