I think you'll find the further north you head, the more expensive it gets. Most of the highend eateries are in Seminyak, Kerobokan, Petitenget, as are the highend, boutique shops. Legian has everything you need but it does feel 'busier' than Seminyak. Legian is more the Bintang set, Seminyak Nico Perez.
