Hi Molly. We have flown Lion (and more recently WINGS that is affiliated with them). They are kinda strict on luggage but the excess rate to Lombok (or Labuan Bajo which is further away) is really really cheap. Also we managed to argue for 15kg of dive gear for free - was in a diving bag. If its an ATR plane they are a pretty good size and people get reasonable size cabin luggage on as well.
