we are currently staying at the Semara in Seminyak, and really impressed with the hotel and the location. We booked a deal through Travel Online for AU $200 per night (an Executive suite, 2 kids stay free - 1 sleeping on the daybed & 1 on a roll-away bed. The room is very spacious, plenty big enough for 4. Included is buffet breakfast for 4, a 60 min massage each in the spa for 2 people, transfers to/from the airport, a main meal for 2 people at the Deck restaurant, 2 hours daily at the kids club & free entry to Finn's beach club at Uluwatu where the Semara has a villa complex).
The hotel is fairly new - opened last year - & everything is top-notch quality. There are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance (and where you don't have to spend a fortune). Might be worth a look if it's within your budget.
