Post Bali Blues already. Spent a wonderful 4 weeks in Bali and had the best time catching up with friends.
Stayed at Bendesa Accommodation for the 4th time and enjoyed it, cheap and clean, only problem they were doing renovations so it got a little noisy during the day.
Spent 2 nights in Ubud which was really nice, stayed at Gayatri Bungalows 11 which was very nice, just basic room but suited us, lovely staff. Went to the Laughing Buddha while at Ubud on a Monday night and happened upon a brilliant Blues Band, they were something else. The best band I have seen in Bali, had a female lead singer and wow she could really sing. If you are in Ubud on a Monday its must to check this band out, they called themselves the "magic mushroom" band but I do think they have another name.
Eating Out - Dog Dragon Grill in Jl Benesari has the best Mahi Mahi, all the food is really excellent here if you want "western" food. Ate a lot at Warung Nalaui (i think that is how you spell it) its just past Max Warung Jl Benesari, best Indonesian Food (Sumatran) and so very cheap. Warung 96, Max Warung, Indo National. All really cheap food and excellent quality.
Went for Sunset at Ku De Ta for the first time which was really lovely. Drinks at Potato Head for the first time again, enjoyed that also.
Now I have to wait another year for my next holiday.
