Hi Pete glad you are all having a great time. Also glad you managed to find Jenny and Diannes.
The tax alot of eating places add is the killer some places 21% which adds quite alot to a bill for a large family.
walk along the beach front along to Melasti street here you will find the new MozzerellA at the Mangin hotel. Great food great service 2 for 1 cocktails and NO TAX.
Catch a taxi (depends on traffic but approx 3$ from Kuta) to the end of double 6 street legian/Seminyak on the beachfron cars cant drive any further turn right and walk to the restaraunt at Kumal Pantai Hotel its an italian place on the beachfront again great food, great entertainment and again NO TAX.
near Bintang Supermarket there is a greek restaraunt called Panterai great atmosphere great variety of food 15% tax.
Mades Warung at seminyak basic but great food no tax.
Get out of the tourist strip around where you are staying, venture further afield you will be surprised at whats on offer and a lot cheaper than the area where you are staying.
