This is a great place to base yourself to see the sights of the east coast, or Karanggasam region. White sand beach a must. Amed and Tulamben if you like snorkling are great. There are also water palaces and various other tourist attractions in area. Candidasa has some nice eateries and some nifty little shops to explore, would recommend staying in the main street if you do not want to get transport all the time as there are no blue taxis in area.
