on a number of factors. For example last evening at the eastern (beach) end of the street I found the rate to be quite unusually high, but as I went further inland it decreased somewhat.
I was so stunned at the higher end that I had to stop, have a beer, gather my thoughts, have a pizza, have another beer, discuss the matter with a group of friends...after which things became much clearer to me. My bargaining skills had improved and I then wisely settled for the much lower inland rate as advised by my friends.
My advice - Sometimes it pays to just stop and think things through for a few moments before making major decisions re street rates...things are not always as they first seem!
