We have been planning this. Helping Children Heal has a PayPal account. People can donate through their site. Just made sure in your details you add Komang or Gede or both. HCH will forward the money to Bali Kids. You have my word as to their honesty.
The boys don't need sponsorships, they need the products to help their skin and donations are needed to help with their on going medical and nutritional supplies. Long term we hope that Komang maybe able to have surgery on his fingers and perhaps his toes, to separate them.
This is a long way off, firstly Komang needs to be built up health wise. Secondly I'm very aware of how much he and his family have gone through since May. For a little boy who has lived in pain and unhappiness for three and a half years, along with his heartbroken parents, they have had to adjust to so much since then. Once I contacted Bali Kids, they brought Komang and his Mum to live at Bali Kids for six weeks and that was the start
From there they have seen a group of us setting up their needs at home, plus a journalist and a camera man. All of this has been very overwhelming for the family. The idea now is to get the Vaseline or Aquaphor moisturizer into Bali and let the family settle down to a normal life. Bali Kids examine the boys monthly and the doctors will evaluate the right time to assess Komang to surgery. I hope this helps
