Although I love the PR & have stayed 5 times I would suggest the KP. I am around your age to & I have stayed in a deluxe room & Ambassador Suite at KP in the older block A.
I like the older blocks because it is a bit quieter & a better scenery from the balcony either large pool or gardens. The newer blocks S & SG are tightly placed opposite each other with a smaller pool running along in between them. Not that I would knock back these rooms but just my preference. There is also a newer block ?H? out the front - think they are 2 bedroom apartments with no balcony or opening windows.
We contacted the hotel direct & left one nights deposit with our credit card. You pay the balance once you arrive with any way you like, credit card, cash any denomination.
