We always used to stay at Sari Beach, but now all of the deluxe rooms are placed with European travel agents. Only "superior" rooms left for direct booking. The superior rooms aren't particularly superior, small, dark and old. Probably OK for a night or tow, but not longer. Some do have little courtyards which would make them more acceptable, but I would really not recommend them.
Puri Raja next door costs aroud 30% more, we stayed there last trip, but were not excited by our room, which was very dirty with poor bedding, mouldy bathroom etc. Even had paint peeling fromt he wall behind the bed.
Both hotels have great location.
