for Komang who featured in our story in The West and on Today Tonight. There is another child, Gede, under their care suffering from the same condition. We understand that there may be limited supplies of petroleum jelly in Bali but the needs of these children are immense and the quantities involved are immense. Komang and Gede both require application to their entire bodies four times every single day. And that will be the case at least until their late teens/early twenties. Also, they come from the poorest of the poor outside Singaraja and their families have absolutely no money to purchase Vaseline. That is why we are appealing to travellers and tourists. Helen Flavel, who discovered the children, and I, along with another guy, Brian, from Bali are organising the vaseline drive. I was the guy interviewed on Today Tonight, along with Helen.
