Quick Trip to KL From Bali - Visa Q's

Hi All,
Been a while since I have been here.

I have noticed that there is a new LegoLand now open in KL. Thinking I wouldnt mind doing an overnighter up to KL on the annual bali trip next year with the young fella.

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on VISA timings?

As far as visas are concerned, can I arrive in Bali, Leave a week later and come back the next day for a week and just pay for a VOA??
