have nothing in common. The Ida is definitely not a resort, it is a small hotel with a small pool and is located behind the Matahari, quite a walk to the beach. The rooms are small and drab and there is very little room for kids to play. The Melasti Beach Resort (not to be confused with the Melasti Bungalows) is right on the beach, has two large pools, the rooms are huge and is well-frequented by families.
