I was undecided a couple of years ago whether to use VOA. Myself and sister decided to get VOA via email on the day we were leaving (paid at Denpasar airport), 2 friends that were leaving 2 hours before us2 decided not to bother. We walked straight thru, looked out for sign with our names, paid $25AUD each, VOA processed our passports, found our bags and we were out of the airport in approx. 10 minutes. Got to hotel, got ready to meet our friends for dinner, went to restaurant, waited an hour and our friends ended up meeting us for a drink back at our hotel, took them 3.5 hours to get out of airport. Not sure where I got the email address from but pretty sure it was from this forum. Things are not as bad as they were back then but I will possibly use VOA when I head over in a month or so.
