Hi all, seeing an ad for ARC clinic on here has prompted me to give some feedback on my experience this year.

Lovely staff, lovely place, clean and professional. However, I would not suggest having any moles removed by Doctor Siti. Lovely lady, however the standard is just not there and my husband and I have the scars to prove it.

Both of us had suspected Skin cancers removed, just one each to see how it was. Mine on my leg, husbands on his lower back. We took 1 week off work so that we could let them heal and followed all the Doctors orders of cleaning, creams etc.

Well, I was a little apprehensive when I took the bandage off after 24 hours as the stitches looked like something from the 1870's but thought, what do I know, I am not a Doctor, hubby's bandage did not come off so well and the gauze was stuck in the stitches so we thought best to leave there rather than pull.

After 3 days we had to go back to get them checked and on the night before hubby's stitches burst open and I nearly fainted, I could have stuck my finger in the hole it was so deep, and there were no internal stitches.

The pain in mine was more than I thought it would be, but she had said she had to go deep, the bruising was starting to subside my my leg was still very swollen.

Back to ARC for a check up and a re-sew of Hubby, who had to have more of his back cut out to get the next lot to hold.

1 day later met up with a friend just back from Australia who had 24 moles cut out - he was already back surfing with waterproof plasters all over his body, he had his cut out the same day as us and we examined war wounds. His were completely different stitches, he also had internal stitches, he had wider stitches and his looked on the mend.

We had weeping pussy wounds and not looking good. Back to ARC on Day 5 as my stitches burst this time and mentioned our friends work to Dr Siti. She got very defensive and said he must not have them on places that get much movement! Actually, he had them on arms legs and back and was surfing. We explained the type of stitching done, and she exclaimed, we just don't do it like that here!

Back to ARC for final check up, where she seemed satisfied. Hmmm?!

Hubby and I spent the next 3 months looking like we had been shot, had a few Doctor and Nurse clients in the meantime so could not resist but to show them our war wounds and they were horrified.

We to date have nice scars, hubbies is a purple 20 cent piece size (was a tiny mole), mine is only 10 cent size and purple. My biopsy unfortunately came back cancerous, however Dr Siti assured me she got it all, once I can work up the nerve I will have to organise flying to Australia to have it all opened up and checked again, as I am not assured. At least I'll get to go to Australia, it's been over 5 years.
