Metis think they are a South Yarra eatery on the peninisula, and 'cause everyone else believes it too, they are!
Dress like you are in Singapore - for the weather, but always on show. Strappy, tastefully revealing if you wish, high heels welcome. And that's just for the men!. ;) They have a cocktail happy hour on certain nights, so dress for a cocktail party in a bar and you'll feel right at home.
Guys should try long linen pants, and a long sleeved shirt with rolled sleeves should be OK. Boat shoes are OK - nothing open-toed if you can manage it.
I don't necessarily agree with it - but that's how it is now.
