We are vego's and contacted Sarong two months before we arrived in Bali.
We told them we were Vego's and they told us that they have a full menu for Vegetarians.
We arrived in Bali and 24 hours before we we had our booking, we confirmed our booking with them and reiterated that we were vegetarian.
"Yes" we were told and they once again told us that they had a full vegetarian menu.
We arrived that night and were seated.
The waiter came and gave us the menu. (Normal menu)
While this looked great for carnivores, it didn't suit us.
So, we asked to see their alternative vegetarian menu.
The waiter said "We have vegetarian. See? Right here on menu."
Another Waiter came over, and we asked again.
He said "We have vegetarian on menu. See? Right here."
We asked the Head Waiter.
He also said "We have vegetarian. See? Right here"
We asked all of them about the other menu, but was always told the same thing.
Eventually we gave up.
we went elsewhere that night.
The next day we returned to Sarong through the day and asked the girl working if there was a vegetarian menu. She said "Yes" and showed us the menu.
It looked great, BUT, they had no bookings for that night and we had to go home the next day. :(
Maybe this time we will try again. Hahaha
