Sounds like you didn't travel to Bali, you travelled to kuta and surrounds. There's a difference. Bali is a big place. And like any holiday, do your homework (the hard work) and get the most out of your holiday. Bali is a beautiful place with beautiful people and beautiful food, unfortunately you didn't find any of it. Don't give up on it.
