I suppose it depends on what time of year you go but i will never ever do this trip again. I went once in September and it was a great trip and thought i would take my kids next time. In July this year i went alone again, i flew into Lombok but took a fast boat back to Bali. It was a great boat and i felt safe but the sea was so rough that they ran out of sick bags as 80 % of people were very very sick. It was a hell trip, if it was not a great boat it would of cracked in half, it was also a 3 hour trip and i think it will be a very long time before i get on another boat of any type.There is no possible way i would do that to my children.
