I am going over in 13 days time. The last trip I ended up with the dreaded bali belly (different from travellers diarrhoea). Many people who travel overseas end up with diarrhoea merely because their bodies are not used to the new minor bugs that are present and the change in diet. This time I am going prepared with travelan (purchased at discount chemist around $20 a box)taken with each meal, plenty of antibacterial gel and wipes, hydralite for rehydration, gastrostop, maxalon, DRINK PLENTY OF BOTTLED WATER - do not drink any non bottled stuff, clean your teeth in it too.
There are so many gastronomic delights to be tasted in Bali, you want to be able to enjoy them all without falling ill. You will enjoy the ilse of smiles and the wonderful people. Have a blast and report back here your experiences.
