Not all beds in Bali are hard..

I have stayed in some fabulously comfy beds that are trully like sleeping on a cloud. Pullman Nirwana Legian beds are to die for, as was a bed in a private apartment in Nusa Dua. Royal Beach Seminyak beds are very good also.
